Strimming the land in summer whilst stark b*ll*ck naked is something not to do in Tortosa...

I've heard that once Nobrot gets out (if he gets parole and his Mum writes that letter) he is going to try pruning the plane trees in Tarragona with his chain saw in the buff. Up a ladder, Yuckkkk Not a pretty sight!!

Hiya
I think everyone has gone mad from the summer sun.  I know lots of things to do in Tortosa but not much about what not to do.  Welcome to the Forum. Whereabouts r u ?  Are you living here?
Dont miss the correfoc on sept 9th at 9 pm.  we had a great time last year.
Tracey.

Hiya Tracey,
I suppose most people on this forum either live here, or are planning to do in the near future.

And i suppose common sense must tell you that this place is no different to any other, unless you are still one of the few people who still think that Spain is similar to Mexico/Guatemala/Equador/Paraguay etc etc etc.

This is an EU country, and all i can say is, if you wouldn't do "IT" in your own country, then dont do it here, pretty simple really.

Have fun and enjoy the the Catalan/Spanish way of life and first and foremost try to integrate into the local way of life and you wont go far wrong!

Jools

Hi Pixsie,

Siesta, Fiesta and don't tell the locals if you support Real Madrid.  ;)

Thanks for your replies everyone..  :) made me chuckle no end. From my experience so far... a handful of the English people I have had contact with are dodgy and not very trustworthy! I'm learning not to be quite so naive and getting rid of the doormat I quite clearly was wearing when coming here!

Love these smiley icons...  :o they are brill!  ;D
