Title: Lawyers/Solicitors in this area. Post by jools on Jan 16th, 2008 at 1:10am
Hi Everyone,
A very happy and prosperous New Year to you all. Question: Has anyone ever needed to use a Spanish/English Lawyer over here for anything other than property purchase? I think i might need the expertise of a Lawyer to prove incompetance from either my builder or my electrician.............to be exact, my builder is a little darling and his work is exemplary, BUT, he sub-contracted the electrical installation to another company which resulted in a house fire. SO.........to cut a long story short, i would like to know if the law is the same as the UK in this regard. I employed the builder, so all responsibility is down to him, and if any of his sub-contractors screw up, who is to blame. Regards |
