Title: La Caxia Salud Health Insurance question Post by SabsLW on Aug 6th, 2010 at 2:34pm
Hello!
We have been looking at the La Caxia Salud health insurance plans and thinking of signing up. It seems reasonable and comprehensive http://portal.lacaixa.es/seguros/catalogoflashsalud_es.html Does anyone have any experience with them? Good or bad ... Thank you in advance! |

At the Catsalud office in Tortosa you can sign up for total health care providing you direct debit 84€ per month, it will cover all in the household which is proved by an Empadron which means you need a Cedula, however you can argue the toss & they will give you one (Empadron). We have a certificate that is a sort of cedula (but isn't) that was good enough. Was also told if we can provide evidence that we receive no income from the UK they will provide the service free as we have no income here, so we are awaiting a reply from the tax office in UK after long letter explaining things.

Thanks for the info Paul. Unfortunately my only option is private insurance, so any recommendations would be more then welcome. Cheers. |
