Hi, does anyone know the name of the church(with bar attached) high on a plateau above Tortosa and approached from the road which goes up past the hospital? I bought a little wooden cross from there for a friend who is a devout catholic and she would like to know the name of the church.

The restaurant in the bar also provides one of the best menu del dias that I have come across.  When we first went in we had to wait for a table as it was full of Spanish up from the town enjoying their lunch which immediately told me that it must be good.  When seated we were offered a 4 course menu, usual salad or fruit juice starter but then a choice of at least 5 dishes for the second course and about 8 for the third, and they were not the usual things offered by every other bar in town and then about 6 spoilt for choice dishes for the postre.  These were then followed by coffees.  The cost 10 euros per head which included wine as well as the pan and the coffees.
And the whole thing was served by a pleasant waitress who could not have been more helpful and, most inmportantly to me, the dishes were hot when they needed to be.

yes I agree - a good menu al dia there.
Also, not just wine included - we were a party of 4 and had a bottle of wine and the guys had lager which was included.
