Does anyone know of a good, cheap reliable mechanic, English or Spanish.

Have a word with Richie's Repairs as advertised on front page of Catalunya Chronicle - 608 872 854. Very Reliable and over 30 years experience. There are also various other english speaking mechanics advertised in the business directory.

Miguel,behind Da Vinci's in Roquettas.Speaks good English and is reliable,seems reasonable price wise,don't know about cheap though.

Adverts are OK but personal recommendation and experience is worth driving several long kilometres for. I know of only one workshop that offers a courtesy car - Rueda in Aldea on the Ampolla side on the N340. The Porche courtesy car is in fact an extremely old Seat-type with braking on some wheels and occasionaly 4 cylinders all firing together. On the other hand it gets you home while they work on your car ! And generally they're OK but alittle off hand.

I second Nobbies Nomination always had our servicing done with Miguel speaks good english!!
