Following advice given on lumberjacking e.g ants and maul I came close and personal with the local wildlife yet again. Being security conscious upon my return from hunter gathering (Lidls) I was opening my gate when something fell on my head, now being a countryman I wafted my face then felt something fall upon my wrist hopeing it was not my ear I looked down and found a 20ft ALRIGHT!!!! approx 10 inches long and slightly thinner than a pencil a snake with black and white diamonds all over it. Seeing as my Spanish neighbor was driving past I remained calm and brave and started to jump up and down waving my arms about and screaming. Knowing me he waved back and drove off just shaking his head. The questions, are these types of  snakes poisonous and was it a baby and should I be on the lookout for more. Not being religious I don't think it came from heaven it fell off the gate or the nearby tree unless this is a new Garda Civil project to protect English properties ( I think I will just stick with the dogs if it is). All thoughts welcomed ( well most thoughts welcomed)
