Took me mother to El Mol� garden centre the other day. I had promised her I would take her and she finally beat me into it. Until now I had pretty much stuck to the ones around Tortosa, expensive I know.

I was quite impressed, considering the time of the year they were quite will stocked, very friendly and helpful and even able to order a Choysia Mother has been after for ages.

Any other experiences or recommendations?

For another option try the ones near Alcanar on the right on the N340 before you get to Vinaros.

How do you get to the garden centre at El Mola from Tortosa?

Drive down to l'Aldea and go north on the N340 direction Tarragona. When approaching el Perello at the top of the long hill, turn off and you will see signs to el Mola at the roundabout (towards platjas). Follow the road for about 3 or 4 Km and its on the left.

El Mol� is our local garden centre and having been to many others, find it's up among the best. The plants and trees are in tip top condition, the staff very friendly and their prices are very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend it :)
