Hi all I was doing my own "pruning if you could call, that,s what I was doing chopping down anything!!! but ran out off time :( and I was giving the descent stuff to him anyway, he is in his eighties, so I don't expect anything too much, and why not as it will years before I get round to having a wood burner set up the way I am going he might as well benefit from it and he a damn good lookout for anything dodgy going on ,and he kept hold of my strimmer for 2 years whilst I was away for safety, and remember I'm a bit of a thicko cant speak hardly a word of Spanish let alone Catalan so we really struggle to communicate.
As for footing yes buying it loose would be best, but haven't got a van yet, need to get shut of a motorbike or two to afford one !!!!! and my old Almeria just ain't up to job of such a big drive down there with my trailer on the back so am stuck with Ryan-air and hire cars for the foreseeable future.
My idea then is to use Vegas for floor joist then block in between, as this is poss feasible without need for a load of concrete (WATER) etc? what,s the opinion on this idea  ?
