Thanks all for advise,very, very unfortunately I am back in UK now :'(,nobby, got wood from Mayors i end, not bad price 13 euros for 7 x 2.5 meter lengths ,not the best quality wise compared to UK, but this is Spain and still up there very primitive so cutting down scaffold planks well and that would have been sacrilege to have so much timber to only cut down when I am scratching around for a couple of nails if you see were I am coming from ! and was grateful just to be able to get it and get job done.
I really should have tried to ask about delivery up in the campo ,have seen Vega's dumped at entrance to fincas  just off the camio track so  reckon that they do deliver ?
The farmer below me who is a fantastic old guy ,but we struggle like mad to understand each other  :-/ I am sure he was trying to tell me  he gets his weedkiller from somewhere near the toll booths up by the AP7, top of Tortosa did not mention what it was called but like  you said Big Yin   he waters it down,anyway wont be back over till Feb so time to get this sorted.
I had one of my best weeks over there yet in 7 years, got quite allot done up there and I was invited for a meal by the folk above me who I have never met, and they had a friend  who spoke English,which was fantastic I try every time to get round to trying to learn a bit more Spanish(forget Catalan for now) but  :-[were does the time go !!!
Ho and thanks Bulldog got the Super Cal, am sure it made a difference to mix, bloody hard work dealing with random stone compared to building with blocks though , I seem to get nowhere fast,I also started using the sand cement mix they sell at Mayors seem,s OK, and save,s time and only 1Euro 85 a bag, I am going to use this  in future, I am sure I have asked before but do they sell bags of concrete mix at Mayors ?
