Title: Eurona changes
Post by coldalba on Nov 1st, 2011 at 7:41pm
Is it just me who could not get onto Eurona on Friday (around midday) for an hour or two?
and
Does anyone else's system think you are in Germany rather than Italy -(when did that change)?

No problems here in Perello. My system thinks its in Barcelona according to www.speedtest.net
It's regularly showing me getting 4Mb on my 3Mb contract.

I had a neighbour (in the Els Reguers area) who had a problem with connection on Friday. He had only just come back from the UK and could not connect to the net via his Eurona connection.

Well today I am back in Italy, judging by which version Google.com gives me. Perhaps all the trouble with the Euro led Google to define all of  the Euro zone as Germany for a few days.
As for speedtest.net - I used to use it, can still see my results, but the main page does not load simply displaying "100%". Oh joy!

There have been a huge amount of changes done on the network this last couple of weeks. It has resulted in all sorts of strange things occuring - some people had telephone and Skype but no internet, others had nothing, others had a perfect service and didn't note any problems.

The changes have just about been completed, failing possibly a couple of tweaks, and a proper service should now be resumed.

If anyone has any problem connecting then please let me know as it can usually be sorted out fairly quickly either remotely or by migrating to the new system.
