My friends young Son wants a pet snake.
Does anyone know where they can buy one, the pet shops in Mora d'Ebre & Tortosa don't sell them. Jools |

:-[ or the other way around, a five year old is perhaps not suitable to look after a snake?

I'm sure his Mother will be fully supervising as with his Rabbit and Turtles.
Personally I think it's a wonderful way for children to learn about and appreciate the animal world, rather than shoot anything that moves like the Spanish do, for fun! Jools |

In my experience keeping pets for.children is a good way for.them to learn about life and.death on a smsller scale before having to deal with it with parents/grandparents etc
