HI, I have Tomtom One IQ Routes Edition, downloaded new updated map and now showing "No maps found" any ideas please, ive spent hours trying to sort it with no success.

Hi Jan. After 4 attempts at downloading I tied them, they were very good, and ran through every thing with me, but after waiting another three hours i still have the same problem.
I will phone them again on Monday and see if they will do it for me, Ive tried another twice today, no joy.

I put 'tom tom download no maps found' on google and it seems the problem you have is not uncommon. The tom tom support site was top of the list. It mentions a few steps to take, even how to restore from backup

I contacted Tomtom and 'Albert' said to just throw it away (like we do in Calcutta) and go and buy a Garmin. And the call only cost me €2.89 per minute.
The electronic version of 'greensleeves' played on synthesized sitar was amazing. Best €42.63 I ever spent.

HI. All sorted. Tomtom told me today I should switch off all firewalls and any other virus progs while it downloads.
Wish they had said that earlier it would have saved 28 hours of downloading 40 minuets of phone calls to Holland and frustration and a little bit of swearing, just a little, honest.
