Title: Tuna tours. Post by geandi on May 11th, 2012 at 6:01pm
The company ( Balfego ) who run the tuna fishing out from L'ametlla de mar are starting boat ( catamaran ) tours from the harbour to the tuna kept offshore as a tourist attraction.
These trips are evidently free in May and a charge will be made from then onwards. You can swim with the Tuna they say. Don't know what the charge will be but should be an interesting thing to do. Information from the tourist centre L'ametlla de mar . |

Went on the tuna tour today,3 including Cactus 'Jacques' Cousteau.Allegedly, information and video presentation, food, drink and a swim with the little darlings.Actually,a trip out to some pens 2 miles offshore, chuck a few sardines at them and come home.
The real deal starts on saturday,as do the prices.€59.00 so should be worth it then,All in all a good afternoon out and it will be better. |
