I have a rental property and recently Nigel installed a Eurona internet connection there.  It's not pay as you go, I pay about 13€ per month but can have it connected or disconnected when I like.  I just have to send Eurona an email.  I'ts quite pricey to install but I had so many people asking if there was internet available that I decided it would be worth it in the long run.  Nigel has all the details. Only problem might be that your property is nowhere near a Eurona receiver.

Two suggestions...
If you can get 3G coverage on a mobile then Simyo offer very cheap rates on calls and fast internet. We use it when travelling and usually get more than 2Mb speeds using the phone as a modem. You have to sign up (like a contract) but on one plan, if you don't use it, you don't pay and we often leave it for months wthout use or charge.
Second. If you want to use the BBC iPlayer here then you need a 'proxy'. We have used www.my-private-network.co.uk for the last 2 years and it is really good. Speeds are excellent and we just leave it on all the time. It costs £5 per month. We tried varoius 'free' proxies and they were hopeless.
If any one wants more info, let me know.
