We went to BASE to pay a parking fine and they looked it up and told us that the details had not yet been received and to go back in a couple of months.  When we went back we got the same reply but to go back in 3 months.  We did that and they looked it up again and told us that they still had not received the details and that it was now too late and to forget it.
