Title: Wheel Trims?
Post by ddspain on Jul 8th, 2013 at 1:41pm
Can anyone tell me where I can get second hand wheel trims?

I have only lost one and it seems a shame to have to buy a whole new set. I have not seen them anywhere except new sets, which are only about €15.
It seems so wasteful to have to get a whole new set.
Any ideas, or help appreciated.

There are a few scrap yards in the area.
What vehicle are you wanting them for?

I don't mind putting 2 the same on each side if I can get a pair.
It is for a Citroen Berlingo van, one of the most common vehicles around.
Surely there must be loads lying around on scrapped, or written off vehicles, somewhere.
I have asked at the scrapyard in Amposta, but no luck.

Do they have be actual Citroen Berlingo wheel trims. Would trims that fit the same  wheel size do it you're stuck, like a set of Morris Marina trims for instance

As long as they are the right size and silver coloured, I suppose it doesn't really matter

Morris Marina? Now you are showing your age  ;)

There's a scrap yard in Mora la Nova if thats any good.

Thanks John
However it would probably cost me nearly as much in Diesel to go to Mora, as buy new ones.
Anyone know anything nearer Amposta/Tortosa, please?

I've got 1 you can have, it's off a 2000 Berlingo Multivolumen, bit scratched but works, I can leave it somewhere in L'Aldea or Tortosa for you to collect.

Thanks Paul, I will send you a PM
Not quite a match, but I won't be fussy, it will certainly look better than no wheel trim, especially for free.  :)
