Hi, the best advice I can give is hire a car at reus and then drive up the n420 towards Falset and Mora di ebre [that's through the priorat region] its quite a fast open road but it lets you see the mountains and views, either drop into Falset or Mora for a coffee. just past Falset is Marca this is where the first of the "no going back" programs was filmed "mothers garden". then I would suggest you follow the river ebro on the c12 through to Tortosa, the river views are great. Just passed the village of Benifallat you will see a sign for Prat de comte it is well worth the detour up the mountains as there is a typical catalan restaurant there that serves the best menu de dia get there about 1pm.

On way back do not leave without going into the GRAND BUFFET on the national 340 at CAMBRILS you will not miss it as you will see about a hundred trucks in the lorry park, this was voted the best truck stop in Europe you go through turnstiles an take a ticket, the sea food is caught locally eat as much as you want for 12.50. enjoy!
