Hi Pat I had 1 mb speed with iberbanda and rang them up and now have 3 mb for slightly less money. I use the ipad and apple tv for live TV from UK I also have it on my kindle for watching live Tv but mostly radio 4 extra all the bedtime stories read to you whilst you drop off.. On apple TV I have changed the DNS settings to get netflix USA and there is no "Buffering" or whirly thing as you put it,All the films play if they are filmed in,Full HD.On netflix you can get all the old favs (complete series) like Campion,Morse,Endeavour,Midsummer Murders Marple etc.....Sorry my wife likes that sort of thing. For live TV we use tunnelbear VPN to change our location to the UK. For less than 4 euros a month you can use it on one pc and two devices ie your pc, ipad, and kindle fire. So we do not have to have the computer on when watching BBC1 etc. Just mirror it to the tv with the ipad.Three devices for 4 euros a month aint bad (price of three coffees) You can also have all the catch TV apps on your ipad and play them to your TV. Not all can afford a thousand Euro or thereabouts for something that's out of sight out of mind like a dish.(On the roof)You have the cost of the ipad but once you start using it you see all the uses to can bring you apart from TV and it's transportable and small/light plus you can play candy crush saga all day. ;D https://www.tunnelbear.com/ http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5209?viewlocale=en_US |
