Really, really sorry to hear that Smidge, it's heartbreaking, I know, it happened to us last year we lost our whole olive crop due to a cold snap when the trees were full of 'mostra'.  I fear the rain in Murcia and Alicante is probably too late to give anything like a decent crop if it has been dry for more than nine months.  As if times aren't hard enough  :(
