As the latest place in the sun is rolled out on channel 4 this week {filmed july/aug this year} I notice that the prospective budgets for Spainish properties is between £50-80.000 and French properties £350-650.000 hmmm! quite a contrast . It seems that France is still a massive draw , for the top end of the French budget you could buy 6 villas with swimming pools in Spain...... rent four out and live like a king!!!
