There has been a major security alert from Microsoft re their windows software. They have issued a patch which you should download at the Microsoft site. The software number you are looking for is KB3003057 It appears all windows software is vulnerable. On the other hand the CIA could just be implanting millions of computers with a "listening device" Well it would never happen that...Would it ? All is revealed on the Microsoft website.Make sure you get the other updates noted below.

Thank you Bunter, on the ball as usual. 

IMHO anything Microsoft is always risky which is why I use Firefox for browsing and Thunderbird for emails and open source software for everything else, or as much as possible.  One day I really must go over to Linux.
