Guidance welcomed where I can buy (online? mail order?) large scale proper maps with lat and long co-ordinates etc suitable for walking and trecking covering Els Ports. Ordenance Survey quality preferred! But better than 1:50,000. Thanks walkers .

Have you tried the information office in Els Requers?
They have leaflets, books etc. covering Els Ports, so may have large scale maps aswell.
A book that you may be interested in for walks is,
Mountain Walking in Southern Catalunya, Els Ports and the Mountains of Tarragona, by Philip and Vivien Freakley.

They have an online Eshop and the website is in English also.

Yup, nice people. Been there four times this year, every time he says, No not in stock but I´ll have them next week. He never has.

ICGC Institute cartographic eigologic in Catalunya.
They have a map 1 -25000
Els Ports nature reserve (53). Price 7.69 plus vat.
Brilliant as they have maps for many local areas, including the Delta.

I know this is a few years back ,but I bought a good walking map, think it was 1.250 scale, at the petrol station across from the Corona in Tortosa .

On this one you can download some trekking routes in Els Ports, the info is in Catalan but there are also some good maps.
