Ryanair has launched a petition to stop European air traffic controllers striking.
http://www.thelocal.es/20150701/ryanair-takes-on-spains-air-traffic-controllers Ryanair stated "when a million people have signed the petition, named Keep Europe's Skies Open, it will be presented to the European Commission and used to pressure authorities into action." If Ryanair are successful, the European Commission could classify air traffic controllers within a similar group to emergency service workers when attempting industrial action. http://www.keepeuropesskiesopen.com/ |

Thank goodness that Ryanair are doing something we would all like to see. I thought that part of being Europe included being able to travel freely throughout the countries - without always being held to ransom by the French.

Check out times and any disruptions if flying.
Expected strike times seem to be different, from my first post. |
