If you Google something like ' world almond prices' etc, you will learn the bottom has fallen out of the ground nut market due to an amazing increase in peanut allergy, something like a 30% increase in a decade. Almonds are taking over in the USA but whether we see a rise in prcces is debatable as the peasant farmer will always be at the bottom of the pile. If you have Marconas then it may be worth irrigating them if you can do so cheaply. |
