Hiya
My wife Amanda and I live between L'Ampolla and L'Aldea. Not your actual Delta but close enough. Happy to meet for a beer or such. Cheers, Simon 677822413 |

As far as I'm aware we were more or less the vanguard of English on the Delta back in 2002 - and still have the place in Deltebre - but are now based in 'the big smoke'... well Tortosa.

You beat us by 2 years we bought our place here in 2004. Riumar Pat was, in Riumar, before that though so they have been the vanguard.

How about as many of us as possible meeting for a coffee in Deltebre this week say Thursday or Friday? In Nicanor or nicer still in the bar by the river in Jesus & Maria We have not been there for ages hope it is still open, it is right at the end of J&M :)?

Sorry Pat I have just seen your message. I have no classes on Friday, so lets have a coffee at the cafe at the end of J&S I think it's called Mirador.
Say 12.00 noon if that's okay with you guys. If anything crops up I'll call you. |

I was at the Mirador a couple of weeks ago so can confirm that it is still up and running. Enjoy the view!

I am what I term as "within walking distance" of lo Mirador. Looking forward to Friday noon to meet up with anyone for coffee.

As I said I was within walking distance of Lo Mirrador only 6.3 k round trip, at least the excercise did me good.
The company was spartan to say the least, i.e. only me. I'm off to blighty 1st December for a while so won't make the next get together. |
