Title: HELLO_XERTA Post by foxhound_mike on May 31st, 2016 at 6:17pm
Hello everyone
new to the forum and thinking of buying a modest holiday home in the ebro valley, maybe in Xerta. Have visited before and loved the place but was a bit concerned about the shortage of parking in Xerta and couldnt find a supermarket. Would welcome comments from others who perhaps know the area and could offer any advice. |

There is a small supermarket in Xerte itself, plus many other small shops and bars, plus a small market aswell.
We used to go to a doctor at the medical centre there and never had a problem parking. On Cami de Mig, the road with the La Caixa Bank, petrol station, and bar /restaurant there is a new Spar. We do not live in Xerte but have found this Spar very good and well stocked. |

We live in Xerta and there's always parking near the medical centre and down towards the canal. If you want to meet up when you're over we can give you the lowdown on local life. You can find us at the car boot sale at the Repsol petrol station on Saturday mornings where we have a pitch.

Thanks for the offer Sherlock. Would love to catch up for a chat. We arrive late on Saturday so wont be able to make the boot sale at the Repsol. We are new to the forum so cant PM you yet (need 10 posts) but if you can PM us with your e-mail or whatever we can make arrangements from there, provided you have time to do so.
Thanks again Mike |
