Title: bird identification Post by Acuaholic on Jun 6th, 2016 at 6:20pm
Not sure if this is the right place, but I have a question about birds. Coming back from Mas de Barberans on Friday we saw about a hundred large raptor-like birds circling above on the thermals. Are they Griffon Vultures - I don't think eagles flock in groups like that? Any answers please?

I saw similar until I eased up on the old vino, if it helps, it would not be eagles as they make their own thermals with their terrible flatulence.
Yours a bird loving Bulldog ( until the other half found out ). |

They will be Griffon vultures although we get the occasional Egyptian vulture.
