Found the ' Cider bar', past the police station on the left, opposite the theatre, on the Passeig Joan Moreria."The Sidreria Amets". Excellent cider and very good food, well priced but don't go before 8.30 pm if you want food. E120.00 for 4 including a good few drinks and rib steaks cooked at the table on a hot stone. Utterly superb.......

They have several set menus that include as much cider as you want to drink included - just help yourself!

Totally agree, Amets is the don ! we love it there, the free cider helps. The young waitress is a bit moody but other than that a superb restaurant ! highly recomended.

Sorry folks...cannot agree less. To me it is the most overpriced restaurant in Tortosa. The staff are grumpy, the service sucks and we were served chicken wings ice cold on the bone. On complaint they reserved the same wings burnt. I am aware of others with much the same experience. :'(
