I'm just wondering if any of the members here originate from the Black Country in the West Midlands?

i was born in Cradley Heath(many years ago) left when i was 14

Hi Ray,
Thanks for the reply. I was born in Bilston myself, do you live in Spain now? Or did you move to another part of the country? The reason I asked the question about the Black Country is if to see if anyone remembers orange battered chips from some of the BC chippies ;D (I'm hoping someone will know how they do it!)

i live in spain now,Masruidoms nr Hospitalet, i do remember the battered chips,they still serve them in cradley heath high street but i,v no idea how they make them, next time im home i,ll ask for the recipe!
