Please can any one tell me, after we have purchased a water tank. where we can get the large plastic tank filled in the Tortosa/Bitem area.

As large deliveries will be difficult to the location above Bitem. is there a municipal outlet, where within a town area. As the tank would need filling once a week!

Any advice would be appreciated.

What size is your water tank...??
There is a water supply firm in Tortosa and he will deliver to "most places" but it is in loads of 13000 litres.If you have a small 1000 litre cube there is a font at the back of Bitem on the road leading up past the cugat building near the cemetery.You would obviously need a strong trailer (the tank will weigh 1000kgs when full) and maybe 2 of the tanks plus a small water pump to transfer water.

This is a few months off yet, but it will be a 1000 litre for the time being in the back of a truck.
Bitem would be great as it is very near to the new project.

Do we need to get a key or is there a charge. I reckon on filling it about 3/4 times a month!

Hi,
They are for public use.The one at the back of Bitem is basically a tap coming out of the rock so take a book with you.
Failing that,ask your neighbours,they may let you buy some if they have their own well or are on the community well.

Do you know if there is also a simular tap in Tiveneys.
