Hi all: Now here's a funny thing....has anyone managed to grow banana plants here, and if so how, and was it from a bought plant, or seed or what...would really like to have a banana tree.!!

Hi Liz
They have them at the garden centre on the way into L'ampolla,Steph will come with you next week as we need some stuff.Will try to get your Branston pickle as well,see you monday for the 'olive growers and gold diggers' hoe down.

I always knew you were, can you make a Banana curry? It could be interesting! they do coconut curries so why not Bananas, oooh thats got me thinking now do you remember those chinese restaurants back in the UK 1970's ish that did deep fried battered bananas for pudding Yummy, would it be tempura batter with some Cava and honey mixed in with the flour to make it frothy and sweet? :P
