Before we bought our place it was used only once a year. It is a house and almacen. The previous owner had a solid steel door on a proper burglar proofing and that did the trick. Our neighbours had no steel on anything and the windows were merely broken open and their few possessions were taken. We have been at our's now for over a year and touch would, had no bother.

Not sure about other households but we have found it VERY safe.
