Yes I have and it works very well. Used it on a motorcycle battery that would have cost a fortune to replace and which was going flat over a couple of days of non use. The solar chrger gave me nearly 2 years of extra life to the battery. Highly recommended!!

Question. Was your motorbike battery 6 or 12 volt??

Battery was a 12 volt and its a large one for a gl1800 goldwing.
These solar trickle chargers are excellent for mainaining voltage but not for recharging most are only 5 watts 17 volts so not very powerful Steve |

Thank's for that. The reason I wanted to know is that I'm thinking of leaving a jeep at Reus for a period and don't want to come back and find a flat battery !
Just maybe the solar trickle charger will be the answer. |

Might be worth doing that and disconnecting your terminals. We arrived last week to a flat battery and we borrowed a hire car for a few minutes to jump it but the hire car battery wasn't up to the job so we hired the dam thing for 2 days and bought a new battery back to reus.
P.S.The new battery was 120 euros plus 110 euros for the car plus fuel, tolls and messing about, might be worth buying a spare one over here and take it over in your jeep |
