Does anyone know of a good, cheap car rental place from around reus airport? or in tortosa etc?

Try www.carjet.com they are pretty competitive, they are consolidators and fish around the rental firms for the best deals at Reus Airport.

Hi Amy we always used www.economycarhire.com they always got us the best rates and always put us with Solmar car hire in Reus Airport, there cars are top quality and about the best we have ever rented, the staff on the desk speak great english as well.

Hi Amy,

Only had to hire a car once in the last 3 and a half years. We drove to Portugal earlier in the Summer, stayed at my cousins villa there, and my elderly parents flew out to Faro from the UK.

So i needed a large people carrier to drive back from Portugal to Catalunya.

I used a company called www.goldcar.es they have a compound just outside most airports so that you dont have to pay airport taxes, but they have a shuttle bus service to pick you up .

I found them to be very helpful and efficient, and some of the staff speak English.
