Shop in Tortosa sells Solgar & other makes of supplements & lots of vege stuff (Tartex soya etc) called Hierba I think, on road near church & Theatre centre. Lady really helpful & laughs hugely when we ask about Vegie restaurants here.

A friend has HGV & got work quite easily going to Itlaian border but hours were long, pay bad & he gave up. His UK licence was enough. Lots of building work around with ex pats, ask around. Volanteer work in schools etc might get you into system & see where it takes you.

Most things are in Spanish except council documents & menus etc. you'll be fine.
