We have our 4 year old twin grandaughters visiting next week, it was no problem in the summer, but now we are struggling with what to do with them.
Anyone have any suggestions?,
Thought about municipal pool in Tortosa, anyone been and whats it like?
See a play area at Corona roundabout, anyone know when its open?
All suggestions,parks etc, greatly received,

Thanks

Kenny.
P.S. they love to be on the go all the time.

Hello Kennymack

We have been coming over to the Tortosa area for about 2 years with
our six year old daughter.

We have only been to the municipal outdoor pool (near the
football stadium), it has a child's area which is not too deep and
seems to be open around siesta time. However this may
be a bit too cold this time of year

We haven't found an indoor pool in Tortosa (does one exist?)
but there is one in Amposta which looks quiet good

The ball park near the Corona is excellent and
the staff very friendly. They are open in the evenings
and also provide colouring for the children
Plus it has a glassed off area for the adults to sit in peace
(great idea why don't they do this in the UK?)

Other ideas are:-

Port Adventura which has a few rides for the under fives plus
lots of cartoon characters walking around the park.

The park - swings and slides plus in the xmas hols
a large marquee full of children's activities

Plus the old favourite hats, coats, bucket and spade
and off to the beach!!!

The swimming pool in tortosa is mainly for schools I think, and I've been told you need to book times.  Only what I've been told!  How about riding?  The stables at Aldover have got ponies, it's really cheap and great fun - my husband's granddaughter absolutely loved it.  Plus, it's really cheap.

Hope they enjoy themselves.
