Hi Nigel,

No hoax indeed. In Holland there are also warnings for look-alikes. And the Thai coins are not the only ones. Turkey, Poland, Italy (before the euro) and some other countrys has look-alikes. Here's a link with all the pictures (it's a Dutch site, but the pictures are also in English ;-)
