Band of thieves from Tarragona behind tyre puncturing and robbing from tourists broken up

L'Aldea. (Tarragona). (EFE).- The Guardia Civil have detained 3 people accused of forming part of a band who dedicated themselves to robbing tourists on the AP-7, during their passage through Tarragona province, by intentionally puncturing the tyres of their victims vehicles.

The Subdelegación del Gobierno in Tarragona said that those detained were Smail S.,  a 48 year old Yougoslavian, Gzim M.,  a Cosovian aged 28 , and Naim M., 35 also Cosovan, they were caught last Sunday (11th May 2008) at Km 315 of the AP-7, at the edge of the término municipal de L'Aldea.

The arrested were surprised in the "Baix Ebre" service area of the AP-7, direction Barcelona, when, it appeared, they intended to puncture the wheel of an English vehicle.
