Title: How does Spain view Live Aboard Pontoons
Post by hazelnut on Aug 23rd, 2008 at 9:44am
Does anyone know if Catalunya has any history of objections to Live aboard Barges or Pontoons?

Do they have any policies to provide marinas on the Ebro, or is the only way you can get a mooring, is to buy your own plot of land adjacent to the river?

We used to live on a Dutch barge in the UK and it was an idyllic way to live, apart from generating your own electricity, and finding a potable water tap to fill the tanks, Hmmm, thats not too much different to living on the Campo is it.

It might be worth a thought, you could even fish from your own back doorstep, and generate electricity from a paddle wheel

Anyway I'm sure they would object to a property like this:-
