We have seats booked for the first week in October for their new route to Sevilla and are waiting to hear if they are going ahead or not.

Will keep you informed.

We also have flights booked for Palma in Oct, but have just gone to ryanair site and have been able to get return flights early  Oct for £1 per person each way inc tax and charges very strange to say the least ,So if O Lairy isnt going to fly he,s still taking bookings.

Looked at the site just now and they are  not taking any bookings for Sevilla or Palma in October.  They are not even showing as new routes any more.

Just thought I would let you know that we received an e-mail from Ryanair today confirming that the flights have been cancelled and a full refund should be received in 7 days.  They even sent a text message to say that they had sent an e-mail!

Do not be surprised if some Reus-UK flights get chopped from early Nov through mid December....  and perhaps cancelled close to flight date.  Be warned.

Ryanair is determined to sit on its pile of cash (in excess of Euros 700 million ) - it doesn't pay dividends - in order to maintain its buying power from suppliers, airports etc.   Cabin staff are earning Euros 10.00 per sector flown. Oh, and the flight deck crew?  Over Euros 100,000 plus bonuses.   It's the captain that takes the decisions you see,  and time-keeping is the holy grail for this company.

I'm sorry I don't undestand this bit.

- why not ? Ryanair is not now, nor has ever been, a good investment - but it seems  their numbers of pax have voted by placing their posteriors in the available seats.  :)

- Your remark about the payment is totally inaccurate. Ryanair staff have contracts in either the UK or Ireland - both countries operate a "Minimum Wage" law and although the cabin staff earn a lot less than the flight deck crew, and like all of us, think we are underpaid, they do earn a livable wage.

While the "holy grail" (i.e. Time keeping) is something I feel the LARGE majority of us, that fly regularly, are only too happy to accept as a ground for choosing Ryanair.

But i guess like most things in life- nothing is perfect and we have to make choices.

This post contains no malice towards any living peron of thing and no Ryanair passengers or critics were harmed in any way in it's conception or delivery.   ;D  

Seems Easyjet has also started to cancell flights from UK into Barcelelona.
The early and the late daily flights have been cancelled up to end of December, leaving only the midday flight.
Not a nice thing to happen, when you have had your flights booked for months, allthough we where offered a refund.

Where are you flying from Phil?   There are three flights per day out of Gatwick up to Xmas day when there are none, and then three flights a day after that, and at the moment they have a sale which stops tomorrow for January to March with 25% off,cost of which can be around £40..........Fill your boots!!!
