Title: WIND!!!!!!
Post by ebrorob on Nov 25th, 2008 at 6:57pm
Has anyone else had the amount of wind that I've had for quite a long time up my valley recently? It's been horrendous, even my cats have started to run for shelter!

Hi Rob
Sorry to hear that you have been suffering from the wind up your valley.  You really must stop eating beans and ask Marg to give you something easier to digest.

Come to think of it Tony, Marg did put an awful lot of those spanish alubias beans in the old stew pot the other night and I must say they went down rather well!
However today the wind situation has now changed to extremely cold blasts.......
and the cats have disappeared.
:D

Expect a gale this Saturday coming, 29th November. High pressure systems in the Atlantic and over Africa; low pressure over Europe.....should be short duration as systems will move through quickly.

I was up your valley today Rob (no dirty comments please) and like ours it was b----y cold.
No wonder the cats have disappeared.
Saw a magnificent male Ibex on the road by the ford but before I could get the camera out Millie had seen it and it was off up the mountainside with her in hot pursuit until she got to the rocky bit.

Get your self a wind generator, then the more wind the better, free power! What could be better? :)

You could always collect your own gas !! then you could cook on it!!

Lets just face it folks:
There are no English speaking comedy clubs out here, ;D
We are freezing our nuts off ( yes, my almonds dropped ages ago.  :-/)
The credit crunch has a tight grasp of our shrinking assets :o

so if we get some kind of gratification talking about wind up our valley, fox ( or was it hedgehog?) crap on our finca, rapping cats and dogs that could solve the international gas shortage then why not???? :-*

Hi everyone
thank you all for the helpful advice concerning the utilisation of the wind up my valley, especially Tony, who I did not realise was a frequent visitor up it.
I thought you would like an update of what's happening today.  Well, the wind has dropped but it's blxxdy cold and further up my valley I've now got the odd icicle!!!!

Hello Boyo's and of course not forgetting the laydeezz!
Well, it seems this Tortosa Forum has been attracting some attention over in the Valleeez, or should I say kicking up a bit of a stink amongst all those garlick lovers. I love a bit of garlick myself but please Laydeez don't eat it the day before my concerts!
What? In case I give you a kiss? No way man, it spoils the aroma of the panties you throw on stage. I'm a bit of a connoisseur in that department.
Its bloody cold in these here valleys this time of year and my icicle is giving me gyp, must be these new leather trousers.
I'll be coming over your way soon folks so get all your pools cleaned up and make sure they are nice and warm.
What did you say? Nah, you dirty minded gits, not for that. I've just had a new hair transplant and the Doc. says cold water will make it fall out again.... difficult to match my hair type he says.... What did you say Delilah? He took it from where? Jesu*, I thought I was running a bit thin elsewhere! Get me my solicitor I'm going to sue. And  you Forum lot, make the pools nice and cold eh!!
Yours Truly
Tom, but you can call be 'Sex Bomb, sex bomb....' :-*
PS. Hey, Delilah, you still going out with that chap called Sampson? What colour is his hair?

Just wait till Sunday (14th Dec)  Lows over Iceland and dead straight isobars extending from southern Greenland directly overhead Tortosa. We could easily have 40+ mph & below zero wind chill so lag your pipes NOW!

Tend to keep my pipes un-exposed Colin.  Don't know about Tony though?  ;)
