Title: RYANAIR AGAIN Post by sujay on Mar 30th, 2009 at 10:16am
Incase anyone missed this it is a good read with a strong cup of something. Personally I just hate O'Lairy, but certainly could not do without Ryanair, must agree though its certainly the way forward so shouldn't complain. Wouldn't you just want him running your company? Have booked tickets to Bournemouth for two, 4 cents return so by the time we go will probably have to pay more to park the car in Reus. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-1163879/Ryanair-How-avoid-Mr-OLearys-320-sting-privilege-check-in.html

Hi Suejay
I don't see the problem!! :o If you have booked on line, Payed by debit or credit on line, printed your ticket on line, and now all you have to do is check in on line!! what is the problem? Even if you haven't got a computer, you could get the kids to book for you, you never know you might get them to pay as well!! tee hee I don't think so What I am Waiting for is a fat B**tard Tax, if you are over 14 stone you pay €4 per kilo over, that will get the slimming clubs populated, and get some of the couch potatoes going to salou and port aventura in a spin. Why should you pay more for luggage when you can be 20 stone and pay nothing extra Cummon Gerry you are missing an opportunity ;D ;D ;D |

Stuart
Couldn't agree with you more especially the FB tax, but if you wanted to cut down on your luggage weight you could use that to your advantage and wear all the clothes you wanted to take. Liked the bit in the blog about toilet charges - After you finished your coffee pee in the cup and hand back to the air crew, mind you for anything else you would have to order the American size coke, {well speaking personally anyway}. Another one which O'Lairy himself liked was to sell the toilet paper with his face printed on it. 3 pieces £1, one wipe up, one wipe down, and a shine. |

Can I say that the best bit would be flushing the face of Mr O'leary down his own loo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............and I think I would even pay for the chance.

I think its Gerry O'Leiry the Ryan air Head Honcho |
Title: Re: RYANAIR AGAIN Post by sujay on Apr 2nd, 2009 at 10:07am
I thought it was Michael O'leary but prefer Lairy due to the dictonary definition, and as for The Forum Ladies, we were lucky to get away with Nobrot's preferred PC term Illigitimate Couch Potato.

Looks like anyone staying in Spain will get some ( ? ) money from Ryanair ... enough to pay for a £3 flight anyway ....

Title: Re: still Ryanair I'm afraid!! Post by viking on May 2nd, 2010 at 10:45pm
Has anyone managed to get a Ryanair Mastercard? It seems to be the only way to avoid those annoying booking fees (£40 for a family of 4 both ways) I put in for mine about 2 months ago and haven't received it yet! Why should it take so long? Is it just another way to claw in the money, ie. the longer they take to dole them out the more they make in booking fees!
PS. Can anyone explain why flying to Reus with Ryanair incurred taxes and flying to Valencia didn't? Is this to do with the airport itself? We have booked to fly to Valencia this year as it was so much more to Reus because of these taxes! Confused- I AM! :D |
