Cambrils police are rewarding non-drinking drivers with 10 euros in fuel.
The drivers must have a reading of 0.0 in their breath test and be complying with the regulations, according to Pere Gutiérrez who is the agent responsible for the initiative.

They are expecting to share out 1000 euros in awards, which can be used in the Dräger, Luvirr and Shell petrol stations in the area. These petrol stations are also sponsoring the initiative.

During the first weekend of the initiative they tested 50 drivers and handed out 20 prizes.

Pere Gutiérrez brother or cousin probably owns the franchise at the Dräger, Luvirr and Shell petrol stations in the area ;D ;D ;D

And if my school boy maths serves me correct that means that 60% of the drivers stopped where not techically as sober as a proverbial judge then.....interesting

So, sober drivers will be swerving madly and generally acting sloshed when they see the police, in the hope of being stopped. It's a mad world.
