Title: Architect needed
Post by David on Apr 7th, 2010 at 8:41pm
Ayone know of an architect who does not have a minimum charge ? I need one to build an almacen at the side of my house. Yes, I know its only an almacen but the town hall insists. The estimate for materials was only about €1000 so I loathe paying €2000 for an architect to draw the plans for what is basically a garage
Thanks
David

4 walls and a roof possibly some internal walls 2000€ sounds a lot to me does the local ajuntament get a cut of the architects fees?

I think the cheapest option is to employ an Agricultural Engineer who will charge about 800€, don't know. Paul

Would they allow you to use a 'technic' instead? Hope I have spelt this correctly. A technic is similar to an architect but has a 'lower' qualification. They can sometimes be used in place of an architect if you are doing building work on your house (town house) and they cost less.
