Title: Re: Watching BBC iPlayer

Bunter,
Thanks for your valuable input as usual.  The original poster to this thread was referring to "catchup" TV.  I don't know if there is some confusion regarding the difference between this (iplayer etc. which needs a VPN) and systems based on Kodi (which do not).
"Bigyin and all other android box fans try this new build fantastic art work and every film sports and tv channels and most work. Martian is on there it is not in the UK yet."
I don't actually own an Android box.  I have a spare PC connected to my TV and use FilmonHDIplayer for live TV (UK channels but many others available) and TVaddons (another customised and preconfigured version of Kodi) for films and older TV progs and series which are no longer available on catchup.  I'm not interested in watching TV on "devices".
My point is that none of the above require any subscriptions.
It's not perfect in terms of occasional buffering etc. but I'm not sure if this is down to my limited (3Mb) bandwidth or choking at the server ends.  We can discuss this further if you're interested.
