I've taken the plunge. Tried the free 1.5Gb and have now purchased a 1 month sub to see how it goes. Previously I was having trouble even getting on to the iplayer home page as something was immediately diverting me off to bbc.com. Similar with the TV Times web site. Tunnelbear has overcome that which in it's own right is a bonus. Haven't had time to test if the allocated bandwidth has improved. I've downloaded a second copy onto my office PC and find that it's preventing connection to my email pop3 servers. Do you know if this is to do with one of the preferences i.e. "Vigilant" or TCP Overide" ? |
