There is a lot out there about this if you know where to look. Open your handbag ladies and pay for tunnelbear 5 euros a month cheap at the price. No such thing as a free lunch unless your from Eastern Europe , lunch is free at the green bin at the back of simply.  :( :( :(

I've taken the plunge.  Tried the free 1.5Gb and have now purchased a 1 month sub to see how it goes.
Previously I was having trouble even getting on to the iplayer home page as something was immediately diverting me off to bbc.com.  Similar with the TV Times web site.  Tunnelbear has overcome that which in it's own right is a bonus.  Haven't had time to test if the allocated bandwidth has improved.
I've downloaded a second copy onto my office PC and find that it's preventing connection to my email pop3 servers.  Do you know if this is to do with one of the preferences i.e. "Vigilant" or TCP Overide" ?
