When we moved here from England a few years ago we contacted DEFRA and was told there was no restriction on taking fruit trees to Spain. The only recomendation was not to take citrus trees. We also had fruit trees sent to us from France and they all came with ´passports´ via the supplier. It certainly makes sense to use trees grown locally but we really missed bramleys so we bought some in.
