Title: Almacen vs Vivienda
Post by ddspain on May 18th, 2011 at 10:07am
We live in an almacen that we built in 2007(near Amposta).
We know you´re not supposed to, but a lot of other people in the area seem to have been doing this for years.
We have all the correct building permits and had it signed off by architect when complete, but it still says almacen on the escritura and is not on the catastro at all.
What does this mean in terms of selling? Would we need a cedula or not? Presumably we can´t get one, as it is an almacen.
We understand that it can be added and changed to vivenda on the catastro, but not sure if that is just for tax and whether it is worth doing. Could we then get a Cedula?
Everything has become so confusing and not sure what to do for the best
Does anybody have any good advice, please?
