Does anyone know if either of the garages at the roundabout in Roquetes on the way to the Superhyper would give the inspection for a Lada Niva for the ITV 2011 and how long it takes? I have never gotten a new ITV and don't know how long the process takes, or if one has to make an appointment?

Garages don't do ITV's. You can get a pre itv inspection done to let you know if it will pass. You have to go to the state inspection centre for itv. It's more or less midway between L'Aldea and Tortosa. Easy enough to make an appointment and the system is quite efficient. It costs about 55 euros. If It fails you have seven to fourteen days(can't remember which exactly) to get the problems fixed and then back to the center for a quick parcel test on these problems. With this system I think a pre itv test is a waste of money. The state run system means no dodgy mechanic creating problems to pay for. I like it.
