If you want to see a spectacle and are remotely interested in birds then you should take a morning out to visit the Vulture feeding station in Valderrobres. It takes about an hour and a half to get there from Tortosa on good roads.

Cost is €13 per person, access is not particularly good but well worth the effort. You are met at 9.0 am in the town and led to the finca. Only 300 or so when we visted ! It seems that it was not particularly good as they can get 600 !!!
